Background
On April 23, at approximately 2:12 AM WW Time, Count Cannaregio succeeded in stealing the Golden statue of Carto from the Wiglington Town fountain. Investigations revealed that Count planned to sell the statue to illegal Treasure Hunters and use the money to fund his army of Modlums. Aside from that, he wanted to demoralize Quest Travelers by stealing an important WW symbol.

Mission Statement
To gather 50 photos of Count Cannaregio in one month (ONLY One photo per Quest Traveler).

Mission Duration
June 01 to June 30, 2010.

Mission Directives
1. Spot Count Cannaregio from June 01-June 30 2010 on WW and take a screenshot of him right away.
2. Save the image and write down the date and WW time when the image was taken.
3. Send your report to stcsquad@wiglingtonandwenks.com. Last day of submission for Mission #1 is on June 30, 2010.
4. Visit the STC Squad Mission site regularly to check the mission status.

Mission Rules
1. The image you submitted for the mission should NOT be posted anywhere else.
2. Each Quest Traveler or STC Squad Member can only send one report.
3. Images shouldn’t be edited or cropped. They should be original full-body screen shots of Count.
4. Reports without the details (Time and Date) will not be accepted.

If the mission succeeds, the STC Squad will be able to map out the possible locations where Count could have hidden Carto’s golden statue. However, failure of the mission means that we might never see Carto’s golden statue again.

STC Squad Members are Honorable
1. All participants on the mission will get 25 traveling points if the mission becomes a success.
2. Any image found to be stolen from any other sources will be taken down or will not be accepted.

What’s this? Issue #007 of Wiglington Times is burnt?

Yes, the new Wiglignton Times is out and burnt! Could this be an action of Count Cannaregio? Does he not want us to know the latest updates on WW? It seems like it could be because the cover of the Issue discusses about the First Mission to stop Count.

Even though it is burnt, you are able to read the titles and some of the pages.

Pages:

  • STC Squad First Meeting
  • Jazz your hair up!
  • House and Island Decors- Part 2!
  • Party Masters’ May Parties

Seems short…too short.

At the end of the Newspaper, you will find a letter from the Wiglington Times Office:

Dear Quest Travelers,

Last night, a terrible thing happened. All copies of today’s newspaper was found burned. This copy was the only one (partially) saved.

We’re not really sure if it was an accident. Issue 077 was supposed to report the first ever meeting of the STC Squad founders so it could also be a major sabotage act. What do you think?

The only lead we have is that some Quest Travelers claimed to have seen Count and his Modlums having a meeting about their “next plans”. But due to the lack of visual evidence (photos) from witnesses, we really can’t tell whether the ‘alleged meeting’ actually happened.

What do you think this could mean? What are your theories for this odd happening on Issue #007? Comment and let me know!

Hello Travelers,

I just wanted to make a quick apology for not posting so frequently like I used to. I’ve just been busier with school the past couple weeks.

So, I just wanted to let you all know that I’m still here and haven’t forgotten to post 😉

And sorry for the really short post.

~Keep Traveling, Floppy
P.S. I’m going on a science camp next week so I will unfortunately be not able to post. I’ll try to find a person to take care of that, but we’ll see.

Yes, the Traveler’s Tree has closed to let only Elite Quest Travelers pass through. If you can’t read or see the image above, here is what the message itself says if you’re a Quest Traveler (nonmember) and try to enter:

Sorry! The portal to the Traveler’s Tree is only accessible to Elite Quest Travelers! Click here to find out how you can be an Elite Quest Traveler.

I’m not sure if Moderators, Party Masters, and Reporters who aren’t members can access it or not, because they have the special rooms on the Traveler’s Tree.

Also, if you are a member and try to access any of the Moderators, Party Masters, and Reporters rooms, you will not be able to enter them anymore because they are only closed to those who the rooms are for. In other words, the viewing of the rooms from April 14-19 is over.
